All members of our recruitment team have extensive space experience, so have the insight necessary to support you through the application process.Serco Nederland BV is looking for a Business Analyst to support tasks related to evolution of requirements for process and tools in support to ESA Corporate andor Business Unit level, controlling as well as analysis of related information supporting Data mining and analysis for corporate controlling activities at ESA level Definition and development of data models Production of internal and external reports Specific Task Maintain operate systems used for ESA MultiYearPlanning e.g. CMYP, Backdating, and KPI Work with big data volumes perform analysis for corporate controlling activities supporting Production internal external reports Definition, analysis validation of ESA requirements for a new Agencywide corporate controlling tools e.g. PLATO, and its implementation, particularly migration test phases Streamlining of multiyear planning controlling processes methods through proposal for enhanced tools Supporting the definition and development of IT systems and databases in support of multiyear planning and controlling Qualifications and Requirements Applicants require a degree in computer science and in business administration or finance, minimum of a Masters. Ability to understand business language and translate it into mathematic models and graphs Knowledge of Corporate Finance, Financial Reporting and Economics Understanding of Information Systems management issues Relevant experience in the controlling domain Good knowledge of financial management systems Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in an organised and highly coordinated fashion Capability to cope with tight deadlines and ensure high quality and reliable output Essential skills Strong mathematic and statistical modeling skills, with specific knowledge in mathematic business models for financial planning and forecasting Good knowledge of programming Relational Databases, SQL, Oracle, Matlab, Visual Basic Good knowledge of SAP and Business Object Knowledge of Corporate Finance, Financial Reporting and Economics Desirable Previous experience working for ESA or similar large International organization in a similar position Please note that Serco reserves the right of changing the advertisement closing date or to close vacancy at any time.
