Microsoft today said it will ship 14 security updates next week to patch critical vulnerabilities in Internet Explorer (IE), Windows, Office, and SharePoint, its enterprise collaboration platform. Google bumps up browser bug bounty

Google on Monday boosted its standard $1,000 Chrome bug bounty to as much as $5,000. The change was the first to Google's browser bounty program since mid-August 2012, when the company announced bonuses of $1,000 and up that it planned to award to researchers who reported certain kinds of flaws.
