The crossing on Tumbling Circle will be closed permanently next Friday after Georgia Department of Transportation officials determined there have been too many collisions at that site involving automobiles and trains. The DOT decided on the move last year based on "multiple collisions at that site involving automobiles and trains," Hall County officials said in a statement released Friday.

Our News 3 Network Partners, The Navasota Examiner, is reporting the Union Pacific Railroad will close down the crossing at CR 452 in Navasota on July 1. The crossing will be close at 8 a.m. and reopen at 5 p.m. Comments may be monitored for inappropriate content, but the station is under no legal obligation to do so.
