Low-Noise Inductive Chokes target MRI scanners.

2013-01-22 14:30:53| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today

Available in 36–300 mm diameters, SMP Inductive Chokes support frequencies up to 200 kHz and currents up to 1,000 A. Units use magnetostriction-free materials that are designed for use in medical equipment. For MRI scanners, chokes are installed in gradient amplifiers, which supply output voltages and currents and control gradient coils that encode resonance signals for subsequent image reconstruction. Filter and mains chokes ensure clean sinusoidal waveform and low-loss feedback of unused energy. This story is related to the following:Inductor Chokes | Filter Chokes
