We are recruiting two forwardthinking composite production engineers for exciting spaceflight development roles based in the United KingdomEurope. We are seeking motivated, experienced Composite Production Engineers to work on a new class of orbital space launch vehicle. The system you will work on will be a critical, integral part of the main structure of the launch vehicle. You will probably be a highly experienced aerospacemotorsport composites engineer, working in an environment that rarely gives you a chance to see your work in action. You will be eager for a fastpaced opportunity that offers exceptional freedom and responsibility, as well as the chance to create a critical system on a European space launch vehicle. Role Composite Production Engineer x 2 Start date JulyAugust 2018 Workplace UK Travel Occasional within Europe Your responsibilities will include Prototype manufacturing of CFRP test articles for cryogenic applications Working with partners to scale up to full size articles using novel production techniques Developing and executing a testing and qualification programmer CFRP materials supplier management Support of CFRP structure design analysis for new class of micro launcher vehicle. Experience Indepth understanding of latest CFRP technologies, production methods and materials. Handson experience with CFRP parts development and production. Pressure design understanding Cryogenic liquids handling and testing experience preferred CAD CFD experience, Solidworks Ansys. Achieved appropriate resin safety handling courses You will probably have these core attributes

In this role we expect a lot of practical, handson engagement with suppliers and a wide degree of flexibility and responsibility to achieve a specific outcome.
