CALGARY, Alberta - Canadian Pacific and the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference Rail Canada Traffic Controllers announced today that a labour agreement covering approximately 135 rail traffic controllers in Canada has been ratified. The agreement was ratified with a record 94 percent of votes cast in favour.

Rail traffic controllers at Canadian Pacific Railway ratify new contract

Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd. and the union representing some 135 rail traffic controllers said Tuesday the workers have ratified a new contract. The six-year agreement that begins Jan. 1, 2015 includes a general wage increase of three per cent per year and other adjustments.
