These RoHS-compliant products, capable of lead-free reflow profiles, do not exhibit any change in capacitance with respect to time and voltage. Also, there is negligible change in capacitance with reference to ambient temperature. Series TE-SNW non-intrusively measures process temperature in hot and cold water loops in buildings. Adjustable metal strap tightly fits around 2–6 in. pipe sizes, allowing surface area of copper plate on sensor to make contact with pipe surface. To work with building controllers, sensor output can be chosen from 6 different RTD and Thermistor curves.
