SINGAPORE: A consolidated delivery system can help remove bottlenecks in truck deliveries to Singapore malls logistics players said, a day after the announcement of an upcoming pilot by Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic and Social Policies Tharman Shanmugaratnam. According to industry watchers, there can be up to 30 delivery trucks coming during the peak period between 8am and 11am for major malls along Orchard Road.

The Domino's Delivery Expert was unveiled Wednesday at the company headquarters in Ann Arbor Township Delivering 40 pizzas to a school for a special event almost always ends with some of the food arriving cold. Domino's thinks it's found a solution to that problem by creating its own fleet of delivery vehicles.

A $4 million dollar multistate settlement with United Parcel Service, Inc., the world's largest package delivery company, resolving allegations that its employees violated the false claims acts of 14 states, Chicago, New York City, and the District of Columbia by overcharging governmental customers on certain transactions, Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi said Wednesday. The lawsuit alleged that certain UPS employees recorded inaccurate delivery times on packages sent by governmental customers through next-day delivery services, resulting in premium-priced packages that appeared to have been delivered by their guaranteed commitment times when they had not been timely delivered.
