Star-Ledger: The Republican stance on climate change has undergone a rhetorical evolution in the last few months -- from flat denials as disingenuous as Ronald Reagan`s "Trees cause more pollution than automobiles do," to an indifferent, "I`m not a scientist, but I`m skeptical that the science is accurate." It`s a marvelous meme. It is spectacularly wrong and criminally irresponsible -- which makes it pedagogically useful for thinkers and comedians the world over -- but it`s still a classic Republican tautology...
