But the inquiry was dropped after a forensic post mortem and toxicology report revealed Tomasz Kochanski died from drinking too much vodka. Coroner Peter Bedford held an inquest at Reading Town Hall on Wednesday, August 12, into the death of Mr Kochanski who was homeless but had been staying at premises in Cardiff Road where he was found dead on October 27 last year.

'Food poisoning outbreak' declared in Caraga region

The Department of Health in Caraga region has declared a food poisoning outbreak over the recent incident involving hundreds of the region's school children. As of 4 p.m., the Health Management Support Service of DOH-Caraga reported 1,665 food poison cases in 9 health facilities in the provinces of Surigao del Sur, Surigao del Norte and Agusan del Sur.
