Based on 40 MHz ARM® Cortex®-M0+ core, FM0+ S6E1B-Series and S6E1C-Series feature low active current consumption of 40 µA/MHz. FM0+ S6E1B-Series provides up to 560 KB Flash and 102 GPIO for secure M2M communications with AES encryption. Supporting up to 128 KB Flash and 54 GPIO, FM0+ S6E1C-Series features 35 µA/CoreMark® score for wearables and wide range of ultra-low-power, battery-powered products. Renesas offers Cortex-M4 MCUs with RTOS and stacks

Renesas Electronics has announced the first ARM Cortex-M series microcontrollers in its new Synergy embedded design platform which is notable for offering a supported real-time operating systems and pre-certified application software and firmware stacks. The microcontrollers, which are the supplier's first ARM Cortex devices, are the S7G2, which is a 240MHz Cortex-M4 CPU core with 4Mbyte flash; and the lower power S3A7, which is a 48MHz ARM Cortex-M4 CPU.
