Patrick Cudahy, the makers of sweet apple wood smoked bacon, is teaming up with Pick 'n Save to Lend a Helping Ham this holiday season by feeding local families in need. This afternoon, Bud Matthews, Senior Vice President of Patrick Cudahy and Jake Poad, Store Director of Pick 'n Save presented a $5,000 check to Sherrie Tussler, the Executive Director of Hunger Task Force at a Wauwatosa, Wisc.

Farmland is partnering with former professional football player and Heisman Trophy winner Ron Dayne, Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin, and Santa Claus to help fight hunger this holiday season. Dayne and Farmland are spreading the word that while milk and cookies are great, what Santa really wants this year is glorious bacon! From now through Dec. 24, for every person that pledges on social media to leave bacon for Santa this Christmas Eve, Farmland will donate one pound of protein to the local Milwaukee-area food bank.

Whole Foods Market has partnered with the Lil Cupcake Girls, twin nine-year-old bakers to host a bake sale for Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry campaign dedicated to ending childhood hunger. Customers who visit the Whole Foods Market's Phillips Crossing and Winter Park locations Dec. 4-6 can purchase Lil Cupcake Girls-inspired cupcakes and 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to No Kid Hungry.
