Expected discontinuation in manufacturing of standard-reference test tire will lead to changes to ASTM International standard E1136, Specification for P195/75R14 Radial Standard Reference Test Tire. Task group will explore best ways to transition from E1136 tire to alternate reference tire. One possibility is F2493, Specification for P225/60R16 97S Radial Standard Reference Test Tire. All E1136 users are encouraged to join in efforts to determine steps and timeline for said transition.

EP Newswire Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) recently said that it is accepting public comments until Aug. 5 on a proposed expansion of Xcel Energys ash landfill near Mankato that would grow by 4.1 acres and allow the landfill to operate for 13 more years. read more

EPA invites small businesses, governments, and not-for-profit organizations to participate as Small Entity Representatives (SERs) for Small Business Advocacy Review (SBAR) Panel. It will focus on EPA's development of rule proposing to modify current Risk Management Plan (RMP) regulation to reduce likelihood of accidental releases of toxic and flammable substances at chemical facilities as well as improve emergency response when such releases occur. Self-nominations are due by July 3, 2015.
