A former guitarist for the band Gogol Bordello is suing frontman Eugene HA1 4tz, alleging that the vocalist swindled money from the rest of the band through trickery, and used unfair methods to fire him from the band. Oren Kaplan is suing on behalf of both himself and the rest of the group.

Grubb & Ellis parent claims Avison Young stole its D.C. business

The parent company of former real estate brokerage Grubb & Ellis has sued Toronto-based rival Avison Young for allegedly poaching its D.C. employees and business while Grubb & Ellis was working through Chapter 11 . BGC Partners , which bought Grubb & Ellis out of bankruptcy in April 2012, says Avison Young's D.C. office conspired to get Grubb brokers to illegally transfer business, commissions, client data and other trade assets without disclosing them to the bankruptcy court.

Three Suffolk County men will be arraigned on a grand jury indictment Thursday in Central Islip for allegedly stealing appliances from model homes and houses under construction as well as tires and rims from car dealerships. Wesley Tyler, 32, of St. James, Tyler McDonald, 19, of Farmingville, and Joseph Clarke, 23, of East Patchogue, face burglary, criminal possession of stolen property, auto-stripping and other charges, Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota said Wednesday.
