Sept. 18 will be the day when the Indiana Bicentennial Torch Relay, which travels along a 3,200 mile route through all 92 Indiana counties, arrives in Columbus. Although a number of events are planned that Sunday for the relay, the torch is now also scheduled to be a part of a special observance that day in Donner Park, which is celebrating its 100th birthday this year, said Lynn Lucas, local bicentennial coordinator.
