The good news just keeps coming for the massive, multi-tower Metropolis project near LA Live, which until this year had been stalling off and on since as far back as the 1980s. Over the summer, construction started on a 38-story condo tower and 19-story hotel ; now we hear that the second stage of development , which will include more than 500 condos in a 40-story tower , broke ground earlier this month.
