PPL Electric is moving some of its employees to the site of its nuclear generating power plant, officials say, a direct result of the company's spinning off its power plants to a new company called Talen Energy Corporation. As part of its alignment with Talen, PPL has plans to move its nuclear engineering department from downtown Allentown to the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station in Berwick, Columbia County.
