Erik Buell Racing , the motorcycle company based in East Troy, closed its business at noon Wednesday and filed for receivership in Walworth County Circuit Court, Erik Buell said Wednesday. Electro Scientific Industries Inc. will close an assembly plant and development center in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, as part of a corporate restructuring aimed at streamlining manufacturing and development. "This action will enable us to further focus our efforts on growing our business while consolidating manufacturing facilities and lowering our fixed cost base," said Edward Grady , ESI's president and CEO, in a release.
