Downtown Miami residents will have a place to purchase sustainable seafood, local produce, and organic foods when Whole Foods Market opens January 14. The market is part of the Texas-based grocer that has been named one of Fortune Magazine's "100 Best Companies to Work For" every year since the list began in 1998. The 41,000 square foot store, located at 299 SE Third Street, will be the company's 22nd location in Florida, and is part of a South Florida expansion of the chain.
