Radio Canada International: Danish-born glaciologist Jason Box who has studied glaciers for two-decades is in the second year of a study called the Dark Snow Project. He is with the Geological Survey of Greenland and Denmark. They found that soot is covering immense areas of the ice-sheet, darkening and increasing its heat absorption, causing melting to increase. NEW YORK, Oct 1 (Reuters) - Bunge Ltd has bought 10,405 lots, or about 528,600 tonnes, of raw sugar against the October contract on ICE Futures U.S. that expired on Tuesday, in line with expectations, according to exchange data and trade sources.

Tele2 signs frequencies, infrastructure deal with Ice Norway

(Telecompaper) Tele2 said its subsidiary Mobile Norway has signed an agreement with Access Industries unit Ice Communication Norge for the lease of frequencies in the 900 MHz band. As a part of the agreement, Ice intends to purchase parts of Tele2's mobile network infrastructure if the Norwegian Competition Authority approves TeliaSonera acquisition of Tele2 in Norway. This section of the agreement consists of a fixed part and an alternative in terms of number of base stations and the time of the acquisition.
