A drunk passenger on an Air New Zealand flight from Auckland to Napier abused the crew, made obnoxious gestures at fellow passengers and spat at a police officer. There were early signs that Air New Zealand flight NZ5203 from Auckland to Napier was not going to go to plan when an obnoxious passenger began laughing loudly while the crew gave their safety briefing.
