Dudley Connect to roll out at borough libraries

Wi-fi in all borough libraries, library links and archives will be upgraded to the council's free borough wide DudleyConnect service, scheduled to go live on February 15. The new public wi-fi service was recently introduced in various locations across Dudley, giving members of the public safe and easy access to the internet using their own mobile devices. Once registered, users can use the wifi in any connected venue including libraries, Dudley Council Plus, Himley and Priory Halls, Dudley and Stourbridge Town Halls, Cornbow Hall, Mary Stevens Park cafe and leisure centres.

Adults caught up in the coloring book craze now have new and more social ways to participate: through libraries and meetup groups. Libraries across the country are holding adult coloring programs more and more in response to the spike in interest, according to the American Library Association, including New York City, Denver and Milwaukee.

On behalf of the Saginaw Valley State University Writing Center, I would like to thank the Saginaw Community Foundation and Dow Corning for their grant support of our new Saginaw Community Writing Center, located at the Butman-Fish Library in Saginaw. Due to this generous funding, the Saginaw Community Writing Center will provide free one-on-one tutoring and writing workshops led by SVSU Writing Center tutors twice a month for the next two years.

As part of IP library, VarioTAP model contains all relevant access information for respective target processor. Free Wi-Fi coming to county libraries

Worcestershire County Council has announced its success in securing a grant to offer free WiFi access in all public libraries across the county. As part of the Government's scheme to ensure all libraries in England have free Wi-Fi access, the county council has managed to secure over A 100,000 through Arts Council England.
