A former Tesco commercial director is to replace outgoing Kettle Foods chief Dominic Lowe who is to retire after four years at the helm. His successor, Ashley Hicks, will take up the role of managing director on August 31 - joining the company from Tesco where he was commercial director of Tesco Hungary.

Chris Clayton has been appointed Managing Director of Agrovista UK Ltd, one of the leading UK agronomy and supply companies, from 1st March. Chris will join from Syngenta's integrated crop protection and seeds business where he was Head of Central Europe for the business.
