Aurora has the opportunity to expand our support within the Human Spaceflight and Operations Directorate DHSO supporting the ISS. Overview The post holder will report to the head of the Robotics and Future Projects office, in the Directorate of the Human Spaceflight and Operations. The duties of this post will include Operations engineering for the European Robotic Arm and Multipurpose End To End Robotics Operations Network Meteron projects, and for future projects such as technology demonstrations on ISS Liaise with EAC, GCTC and RSC Energia for instructor and crew training issues, including maintenance of the ERA Astronaut Training Database ATD Software management andor rapid software prototyping for the projects in the office Logistics organisation for ERA integration and launch campaign, Meteron experiments and test campaigns in analogue sites field tests. Knowledge andor experience of space robotics related to the ISS and its operations will be considered an asset, as will knowledge andor experience of the ERA system. For these devices, a range of highly customized subcomponents are being developed that require embedded software and hardware developments.
