The leader of Alberta's Wildrose Party says he's boycotting Tim Hortons to object to the coffee chain pulling ads for pipeline giant Enbridge from its in-store TV channel. Brian Jean said Friday that he'll frequent the popular chain if the company decides to apologize for taking jabs at the oil and gas industry.

Chain-sawed statue reflects Horton's railroad history

Chain saw artist Vicki Langton, of Perry, stands by the statue of a railroad engineer she created that was recently installed on top of a tree stump in Horton. Langton will return in the spring to reshape the stump and attach an emblem from the Rock Island Railroad, which, at one time, had a line that ran through the city.
