DC Motor Driver ICs reduce automotive power requirements.
2013-12-10 14:32:27| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today
Offering respective typical low ON resistance values of 0.6 and 0.5 Ω, TB9101FNG and TB9102FNG are automotive quality grade brushed DC motor drivers. Both come in flat SSOP24 package and integrate circuits to detect faults (such as over-voltage and over-current conditions) and report them to host MCU. While TB9101FNG can drive two motors, TB9102FNG can drive up to 6 motors. Both are fabricated in fine pitch BiCD process and are sized as to miniaturization of PCBs. Geoengineering approaches to reduce climate change unlikely to succeed
2013-12-05 15:59:00| Climate Ark Climate Change & Global Warming Newsfeed
ScienceDaily: Reducing the amount of sunlight reaching the planet's surface by geoengineering may not undo climate change after all. Two German researchers used a simple energy balance analysis to explain how Earth's water cycle responds differently to heating by sunlight than it does to warming due to a stronger atmospheric greenhouse effect. Further, they show that this difference implies that reflecting sunlight to reduce temperatures may have unwanted effects on Earth's rainfall patterns. The results are...
