Verification Support Tool DOORS Development Support 1413004 Job Description The general objective of the service is the prototyping and development of the Verification DOORS Data Base and associated tools in the frame of the Meteosat Third Generation MTG Programme Verification and Validation activities. These developments must build on the existing MTG DOORS Requirements Data Base assets, thus a familiarisation phase is also necessary in the beginning of the service. The detailed activities will be defined and agreed ondemand through dedicated Work Packages providing the identification of activities to be performed and the deliverables expected including related DOORS, DXL and potential software developments and scripts, technical documentation including design, test reports, procedures, and adhoc presentations to users. The work will be performed for the GEO Division in charge of the MTG Programme development. In this context the Key persons will report directly to the System Verification and Validation Team Leader of the MTG Team. The work will involve interactions with the MTG IVV teams who will use the tool and especially with the users supporting the prototyping activities. It will also require important technical interfaces with the Technical and Scientific Support Department TSS in charge of the existing DOORS requirements data base assets and with the Information and Communication Technology division in charge of the daily maintenance and administration of DOORS. Typical tasks planned to be performed in the frame of this service would include the following activities. The tasks described below are not contractually binding tasks but an illustration of activities expected to be performed in the frame of this service support contract Familiarisation with MTG DOORS requirements database implementation and tools, and with MTG IVV Test Plans and VCDs Familiarizations with MTG IVV plans and anticipated testing and verification processes Familiarization with EUMETSAT corporate CM, DM, Anomaly processes and tools Familiarisation and critical analysis of verification support tool requirements, highlevel design and preliminary VCD prototyping Establishment of detailed staggered prototyping and development plan Development, installation of prototypes and final versions. Prototypes presentation to users and necessary demonstrations. Support to users utilisation. Organisation and collection of user feedbacks, analysis and proposals for corrections andor alternative implementations. Design, development, installation and integration of final versions, including tests management module, verification consolidation modules, statistics generation, integration of external data bases, development of interfaces with other MTG tools and EUMETSAT corporate tools. Trade off analysis on specific functions implementation Export and import with external contractors database Preparation of relevant documentation in the area of, but not limited to documentation of design, user manuals, working practises. Ondemand statistics and reports on testing and verification status User training. User support in the prototype and rollout phases. Excluded tasks DOORS database administration and maintenance, DOORS database user management Required Skills and Experience Demonstrated knowledge and professional experience in the usage of DOORS and DXL Knowledge of and experience with HTML, JavaScript Knowledge of and experience of change and configuration management processes Experience in providing user support Experience in using andor developing DOORS for verification management andor Fluency in English. Desirable Skills and Experience Knowledge of and experience of a programming language such Java or C Knowledge of and experience with XML Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office and Windows 7 Past working experience in a Space System with characteristics and complexity similar to the complexity of MTG System Knowledge of ECSSEST1002 or equivalent standard.
