Twelve Mile Road at CSX Railroad Crossing to Close Monday for Repairs

A road closure due to repairs at a railroad crossing in Green Oak Township next week could impact travel for local motorists. The Livingston County Road Commission says the repairs are scheduled to begin Monday on Twelve Mile Road at the CSX railroad crossing.

Rail crossing to close for track work

Crews for All Aboard Florida, the intercity passenger rail service under construction by Florida East Coast Industries, will close the intersection of 3rd Street at Quadrille Boulevard in West Palm Beach to work on the tracks and prepare for construction of the 60,000-square foot West Palm Beach station. The intersection will close at 10 p.m. on Sunday, July 19 until about 5 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22. Crews will install 120 feet of new track parallel to the existing track, to keep freight operations going as All Aboard Florida builds the new station.

Gaithersburg Road Closed for Railway Crossing Construction

For approximately five days starting July 6, 2015, South Summit Avenue between East Diamond and Olde Towne Avenues will be closed to vehicular traffic so that CSX Transportation can make repairs at the railroad crossing. MARC commuter rail service will not be interrupted.
