An Amtrak train struck an unoccupied pickup truck that was left on Union Pacific Railroad tracks in Richmond on Wednesday evening, according to rail officials. Union Pacific spokesman Francisco Castillo Jr. said the collision, which did not cause injuries to the train's crew or passengers, occurred at 6:10 p.m. on Brookside Drive.
