TPE Grades are bondable to polyethylene.

2013-08-01 14:29:56| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today

Available in 32, 40, 60 and 70 Shore A Hardness, 4 overmolding grades of Maxelast® TPEs can be used for bonding onto PE (polyethylene) used for handles, grips, cosmetic cases, and other applications. Chemical bond between soft elastomeric alloy and rigid PE substrate results in products that are slip resistant as well as ergonomic and soft to touch. Additionally, TPE provides shock absorption for grips. Grades do not require any drying and can be colored. This story is related to the following:Thermoplastic Elastomers
