Defence jets scramble after Twitter bomb threats are made against two US flights

Bomb threats made against two US airline flights via Twitter prompted air defence fighter planes to scramble to accompany them to their destination in Atlanta early Sunday morning Australian time. The planes landed safely at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, no bombs were found aboard either flight and the Atlanta airport has returned to normal operations, airport spokesman Reese McCranie said.

Gogo to install Wi-Fi on American Air's two-class regional jets

As American Airlines this week celebrates the first anniversary of its merger with U.S. Airways , the carrier had some good news about Wi-Fi connectivity for passengers flying on its regional jets. American said that by 2016 it plans to add Gogo inflight wireless Internet service on its two-class regional jet fleet - numbering nearly 250 aircraft altogether.
