Alcohol maker Constellation Brands announced a voluntary recall of Corona Extra bottles because some may contain small particles of glass. Less than one-tenth of one percent of the Corona Extra 12-ounce clear bottles are affected, the company said, calling the recall "very limited in scope."

General Motors has reached a settlement with the Federal Trade Commission on the federal agencys investigation into two dealers marketing used vehicles as safe to drive despite not completing recall repairs on the vehicles. GM and the dealer groups Jim Koons Management and Lithia Motors Inc., independently agreed to stop marketing used vehicles involved with vehicles in the ignition-switch defect scandal and vehicle recalls. The consent order, if finalized after a public commenting period, would remain in place for 20 years, the FTC said.
