Air New Zealand says it has no plans to schedule flights to Canberra Airport, despite lobbying from Chief Minister Andrew Barr as part of the government's push for international services. Hawaiian Airlines aircraft experienced two incidents over the weekend - a lightning strike to a Boeing 717 aircraft like the one seen here, on a flight from Hilo to Honolulu, and a bird strike to a Boeing 767 just after taking off from Oakland, California.
