TASKS The key person will be assigned to the maintenance of several space systems under ITIL methodology. The key person will integrate a team of software engineers under the direction of the project manager in CS GmbH. This activity includes, among others, the following activities Software development in CC and Java Bug fixing Anomaly investigation and fixes implementation Support to technical meetings with customers Intensive test and validation activities Onsite support for critical operation phases Project Reporting. PROFILE Any knowledge and experience in software development or maintenance in the space environment would be an important asset. Academic background The Key person shall have M.Sc. in Computer Science Engineer Telecommunications Engineer or equivalent. Technical skills Good level in C and Java programing Good background in UnixLinuxwindows environments Good knowledge in configuration management such as SVN GIT Knowledge in Spring, Eclipse RCP, EMF, GEF, GMF, SWT Knowledge in communication protocols TCPIP, CORBA, RMI would be an advantage Knowledge in scripting language, shell, Perl Knowledge in databases JDBCSQL, MySQL Knowledge in test management such as Mercury quality Centre Knowledge in management of requirements e.g. DOORS Some knowledge of CCSDS standard would be valuable. Others skills Proficiency in English language High level of flexibility Good organisation skills, good communication skills Ability to work autonomously in a challenging environment.
