2013-09-25 14:00:35| TechNewsWorld
If you are looking for a really decent, snappy and lightweight KDE distro that installs easily onto a flash drive, check out ZevenOS's Neptune. Netrunner Sprints Ahead of the Linux Distro Pack

"Enigma" may be the nickname of the latest release of the Netrunner Linux distro, but there's actually nothing enigmatic about it. This year-old OS, which targets both beginners and intermediate users, offers a surprisingly comprehensive selection of installed software for users with a wide range of interests. It's easily as flexible and usable as Puppy and Knoppix, yet leaner and more family-oriented than most young distros.

2013-05-23 14:00:00| TechNewsWorld
They say springtime is a season of rebirth and renewal. Not only have we seen the birth of Cloverleaf from the ashes of Fuduntu, but now Cinnarch has gone through a similar transformation. No real death was involved this time. Rather, the Arch-based distro decided to give the Cinnamon desktop at its foundation the proverbial boot, calling it "too much a burden to maintain/update going forward."
