In comments on proposed consent decree to resolve oil industry lawsuits against the agency over delays in finalizing the rulemakings, BIO said it is imperative that the EPA gets the administration of the annual Renewable Fuel Standard renewable volume obligations back on track. EPA should withdraw its proposed 2014 RFS rule and reissue it by June 1, 2015, to include advanced and total renewable biofuel volumes that are consistent with the RFS statute.

On May 15, 2015, we learned that the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway has approved Shell proposal to use the Transocean Barents. The production well is set to commence on 30 May 2015, drilling is expected to last for a period of 45 days.
