Manufactured as part of multi-vessel contract for nylon process installation, ASME Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger features 22 in. OD vessel and 81.5 in. straight tube length. Vessel and U-tube material is SA-240-316L and SA-249-316L. Nominal rating is to 230 psi @ 600°F and full vacuum with external jacket design of 86 psi @ 600°F. Tube-to-tubesheet joints are welded and expanded per TEMA tolerances and liquid penetrant tested (PT).
