This new swine viral disease has spread rapidly across the United States' pig-raising regions, decimating piglets less than 2 weeks of age and raising concerns about how it got here and how to keep it out. What has been your experience with PED virus? Yes, we've just contracted this infection in our hog operation. We thought we might have it, but it turned out to be TGE. This disease has been seen in our area, but not on our farm. I have not seen this disease in our swine herd.
