New tenant for Steelcase pyramid being courted, says Right Place spokesman

A spokesman for The Right Place Inc. confirmed rumors Monday, Nov. 2, it is working with a possible new tenant for the giant pyramid-shaped "corporate development center" Steelcase moved out of five years ago. "I can confirm that our organization is part of a larger team involved with the project related to the former Steelcase pyramid," Tim Mroz, vice president of communications for the economic development agency, told MLive and The Grand Rapids Press.

The group behind a proposed school at the iconic pyramid building once occupied by Steelcase Inc. says the deal is off. Jerry Zandrea with Pyramid Campus says they agreed on a price a couple weeks ago and were set to begin the first classes in July.
