Deer Park man accused of stabbing at LIRR station in Farmingdale

A Deer Park man was arrested and charged with assault early Wednesday after he stabbed another man on the platform at the Long Island Rail Road station in Farmingdale, police said. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority police identified the suspect as Orlando Sanchez Jr., 29, and said he also was charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
