Baidu cuts Q2 revenue guidance amid falling medical ad spend

(Telecompaper) Chinese search engine Baidu has revised its revenue guidance for the second quarter of 2016 and provided an update on recent business developments. Baidu currently expects estimated second quarter 2016 revenue to be in the range of CNY 18.1 billion (approximately USD 2.8 billion) to CNY 18.2 billion (USD 2.8 billion). This compares to previous estimations of CNY 20.1 billion to CNY 20.5 billion.
