Unitil Corp. of Hampton, N.H., which distributes natural gas and electricity to Ashby, Fitchburg, Lunenburg and Townsend, as well as some homes in Leominster and Shirley, issued the following statement Sunday afternoon regarding the impending nor'easter: Unitil Corporation, , a provider of natural gas and electricity to customers in New England, is preparing for the possibility of blizzard-like conditions in all of its service territories beginning late Monday night and throughout Tuesday. According to the most recent forecasts, as much as 2 feet of dry snow combined with occasional 45 mph wind gusts are possible in all service territories, with higher gusts possible in the seacoast region.
