Gulf Coast Commercial Group has purchased 21 acres near downtown Houston for $40 million dollars from Texas Tile Manufacturing LLC, a subsidiary of France-based Tarkett. The deal, which was reportedly under contract since February , was reported as closed on Tarkett's website.

An affiliate of AutoNation sold a former dealership site in Fort Lauderdale to a developer who plans to build a Rooms To Go furniture store. Maroone Ford, an affiliate of Fort Lauderdale-based AutoNation , sold the 3.6-acre site for $6 million to SC 1413/RTG Ft Lauderdale.

PepsiCo's campus in Somers has been purchased by a little-known company for nearly $87 million, records from the town and Westchester County show. The buyer is listed as an entity called One P Way LLC. Forbes reports that the buyer is linked to Mexican tycoon Carlos Slim, who is also known in the press by his formal name, which is Carlos Slim Hel.
