Position Reference 028 You will have the opportunity to provide support in the implementation of activities defined in the GSA cyber security implementation plan. This task entail classified and unclassified documents, and entails PRS information. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include For Vulnerability Tracking and Mitigation, the main tasks to be performed are Track lifecycle of known vulnerabilities Definition of vulnerability risk mitigations through operational measures Monitor implementation of operational mitigations performed by GSOp or other operators contracted by GSA Review evidences of Operational Mitigations performed by GSOp, and consolidate them for submission to SAB Accreditation Team Support GSA CSM in the preparation of Cyber Treatment meetings, Cyber Review Boards and any other relevant workshopsmeetings Report to GSA CSM and Provide support to the GSA CSM on any other tasks under its responsibility. For the Defensive Security Design, the main tasks to be performed are Maintain the security technical baseline policies, requirements, concepts of operations Perform and maintain traceability of the security technical baseline to mission requirements Support the CSM in the flow down of the security technical baseline in GSA procurement projects e.g. GSC, RLSP Manage and monitor the implementation of the security technical baseline in the GSA procurement projects Participate to project reviews, focusing on aspects related to the security technical baseline Report to GSA CSM and Provide support to the GSA CSM on any other tasks under its responsibility. For Cyber Internal Auditing, the main tasks to be performed are Audit processes and controls related to vulnerability management Audit implementation of operational mitigations and operational treatment plans in general Audit implementation of processes and controls related to cyber security governance in GSA Support the development of the GSA cyber audit plan Report to GSA CIA Provide support to the GSA CIA on any other tasks under its responsibility. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have a Masters Degree in the relevant discipline. You have between 2 and 5 years of relevant experience. You have a background in cyber security. You hold a security clearance EU Secret. You have a high level of proficiency in the English language at least C1 level. Knowledge in other European languages will be an asset. You have experience dealing with the drafting of risk reports and security advisories. Aurora has the opportunity to expand our support to ESA in the domain of PLT RF Systems Payload and Technologies. Overview The work includes specification, design and security risk analysis of radio navigation satellite systems, with emphasis on security and cryptography aspects. The position is in support to the Galileo System Security Unit in the Galileo Security Office. The principal tasks and responsibilities will include Definition and evaluation of system security design concepts. Definition of GALILEO system and segment requirements, interacting with system and segment experts, focussing on cyber security and PRS topics. Evaluation of segment proposals focussing on cyber security and PRS. Support to the ESA Engineering Board process, in order to maintain the requirements system baseline using DOORS. Support to Procurement, Development, Integration, Validation of System Security Tools validating the Navigation System Concept. Support to PRS Test Benches whenever required by the ESA Galileo Security Office. Supporting technology developments Signal generator and Receiver in preparation of PRS test bench and security activities. Supporting the procurement of system tools e.g. Emulators, Test Bed contributing to the proof of concept and experimentation of PRS evolutions. Participation in the overall Radio Navigation RD roadmap, focussed on cybersecurity engineering aspects, with emphasis on the domains of Radio Navigation receivers and other System Verification Tools. Specific qualification requirements Master degree in Telecommunications, Electric Engineering, or cybersecurity engineering, as well as experience in these fields. Specific and strong knowledge on Satellite Radio Navigation Systems, ranging and positioning techniques and technologies, including latest trends in robust PNT. Extensive experience in the design and development of large distributed security systems. Fluency in English both written and spoken is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage. Legal and Security Requirements All applicants must be legally allowed to work in The Netherlands Applicants are required to provide a copy of their passport and degree certificate. Aurora will validate the Degree with the issuing University and provide evidence to ESA. Prior to issuing a letter of employment the applicant shall provide to Aurora a recent official document declaring that they are of good conduct from the country where currently resident. Location The work will be performed at the European Space Technology and Research Centre ESTEC at Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Contract The selected candidate will receive good remuneration in line with ESA Job Class. Will be registered for both social security and tax in the Netherlands. The standard working hours are 40 per week. There are 12 public holidays and an additional 30 annual days holiday. Training to improve efficiency and provide strength for future career are of course included. Aurora assist with relocation both with support and financially.
