Paper introduces nature of the hazard and industry codes and standards that address arc flash, as well as requirements with which facilities must comply. Originally developed by NEMA Molded Case Circuit Breakers Committee, revisions were made to bring document up to date with latest testing references and requirements, and to align with current terminology and industry practices.
