Australian Broadcasting Corporation: Scenes of tragedy are unfolding in the Philippines as information trickles out from some of the areas worst hit by Super Typhoon Haiyan. The typhoon, which has a 600-kilometre-long front, made landfall in the Philippines on Friday with winds of up to 315km/h. At least 100 people have been killed in the Philippines but officials fear the death toll will rise.
