Indiana Governor Mike Pence Presented 2014 BIO Governor of the Year Award

As announced by BIO, Indiana Governor Mike Pence was honored with 2014 Governor of the Year award in recognition of his leadership and commitment to strengthening biotechnology and health sectors within Indiana. Pence received said award as part of signing ceremony for Senate Bill 262, which creates pathway for substitution of interchangeable biologic medicines in Indiana. Competition cuts profits of Indiana casinos

It's been a tough year for Indiana casinos because of increased competition. The Indianapolis Star reports gaming revenues in Indiana were down $242.5 million in Indiana the past 11 months because of increased competition from a casino opening in downtown Cincinnati and two racinos opening in Ohio.

ConAgra expanding Indiana popcorn facility
