American Architectural Manufacturers Association's (AAMA) current standards pertaining to fenestration in manufactured housing – 1701.2-12, 1702.2-12, and 1704-12 – have been recommended for adoption by Manufactured Housing Consensus Committee (MHCC) to U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Praising this as "a major victory," AAMA certification manager Rich Rinka said change from currently standards would not happen "without MHCC's blessing."
