A last-ditch fundraising effort has brought the total amount of money poured into the San Juan Capistrano City Council elections to $135,919, with Rancho Mission Viejo employees stepping up with big donations for Jan Siegel and its top executive giving to incumbents Larry Kramer and John Taylor. Of the $33,165 raised since Oct. 1, Taylor reported $7,819 and Kramer reported $7,494, pushing their total cash to more than $37,000 each.
