Anritsu Company introduces three frequency options for its industry-leading PIM Master MW82119A Passive Intermodulation (PIM) high-power, battery-operated, portable PIM test analyzer. The new options provide wireless field engineers and technicians with the first battery-operated handheld analyzers that can accurately conduct “top of the tower” PIM measurements in the LTE 800 MHz and UMTS 2100 MHz bands, in addition to the LTE 2600 MHz band.

(Telecompaper) Telecom New Zealand has announced that it will launch LTE services over the 1800 MHz spectrum band on 12 November in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch. At the same time, Telecom also introduced a new-look retail brand, featuring the Telecom 'spark' in a range of new colours, in addition to the traditional blue. The 4G service will be available to both prepaid and postpaid customers at no additional cost on Telecom's current plans. New Ultra Mobile plans start at NZD 39 per month on an open-term contract or NZD 49 on a 24-month contract with 1 GB of data, 300 minutes, unlimited SMS messages, and 1 GB of Wi-Fi data per day. The plans range to NZD 119 per month or NZD 139 per month on a 24-month contract for 3 GB, unlimited minutes and texts, and 1 GB of Wi-Fi data per day.
